Hello, I'm Madhav Prasad Guragain – a dedicated and self-motivated Civil Engineer with over 5 years of diverse experience in hydropower projects, water supply systems, property valuation, and technical instruction. I hold a Master’s degree in Construction Management from Pokhara University and a Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering with a specialization in Hydropower from Kathmandu University. My academic foundation, combined with hands-on experience, has equipped me with a strong understanding of project management, construction supervision, and technical design. I am proficient in AutoCAD 2D/3D, ETABS, and other civil engineering software, and I have a proven track record of managing complex projects, from modern hydropower plants to sustainable urban developments.
Currently, I serve as a Property Valuator/Engineer at Ace Design and Builders Pvt. Ltd., where I conduct property valuations and provide training on AutoCAD and Microsoft packages. Additionally, I am a Civil Instructor at Shree Jalapadevi Secondary School, teaching subjects like Engineering Drawing, Surveying, Estimation and Costing, and Construction Management. My ability to balance technical expertise with effective communication has made me a valuable asset in both engineering and educational roles.
Throughout my career, I have worked on notable projects such as the Super Madi Hydropower Project (44 MW) and the Arun Kabeli Hydropower Project, where I oversaw construction supervision, prepared as-built drawings, and managed quality control. I am also skilled in property valuation, material planning, and site management, ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest standards.

Played a key role in construction supervision, ensuring adherence to design and drawings. Managed the preparation of Interim Payment Certificates (IPC) and as-built drawings. Oversaw concreting of Ogee-shaped weir, undersluice work, and steel lining, ensuring quality and timely project delivery.
